Phillips Insurance is an insurance agency, representing thousands of clients throughout the northeast, with a focus on integrity and innovation. Our agency is now in its second generation and our commitment to our clients and our community is one based on growth and stability.

 

Although we are widely known for our expertise in providing bonds and insurance to construction clients we enjoy a wide diversification in our clients, servicing everything from manufacturing to high tech firms. We offer our clients a full range of insurance products including commercial insurance, employee benefits, bonds and personal insurance.

 

Our President Joe Phillips is a cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts School of Management and earned his MBA from Boston College. A former Bond Manager for the second largest bonding company in the country, Joe is the past President of the Surety Association of Mass and earned both his AFSB designation (Associate in Surety and Fidelity Bonding) as well as the CRIS designation (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialists). Joe has served on numerous constructions related boards and has taught numerous insurance and bond related classes. 


Where We Are
Our agency has been located on Center Street in Chicopee since its inception in the 1890s. Currently, Phillips Insurance operates from the former parsonage building of the Central Methodist Church which was built in the 1870s.

Our associates and support staff are highly trained so that we may keep on top of changes impacting the insurance industry and our clients. We are highly automated which assures you the best possible service. Our staff is supported by some of the largest and most stable insurance companies in the world.
